Fix It…

Kamala Harris’ campaign slogan is “A New Way Forward.” I find this fascinating because it implies that the last almost four years are NOT the correct “way forward.” And that’s not even getting into how much that slogan matches the slogans put out by the Soviets and the Chinese Communist Party (that’s a story for another post). Harris and her campaign are trying to convince voters that the problems of the last four years are… checks notes… Trump’s fault. Yes, they are trying to blame a man who hasn’t been in office since January of 2021, for everything that has happened since he left office.

Process that for a minute. Trump hasn’t been in office since January 2021, yet everything that has happened since is all his fault.

Damn that man is powerful! He can run the office of the President of the United States without even holding office!

I recently saw the picture below on Facebook. A supposed letter from a Canadian to the U.S. commenting that the U.S. is really screwing up and they’re worried about us. The picture is intended to be taken as a recent letter. However, the date on the newspaper indicates it was 2016. The last line of the letter reads: “Remember who you need to be and come Election Day… fix it.”

Did the person on who’s wall I saw this mean to imply that we needed to fix things after Obama’s two terms? After all, 2016 was the contest between Clinton and Trump. Clinton would have been a continuation of Obama policies. So “fix it” appears to mean don’t go with the same old, same old. I’m not certain that was the intention of the poster and those who “liked” and even “loved” this post. I did, in a comment, ask what exactly we were supposed to fix. I haven’t been back in yet to see what the response to that was. I’ll go back tonight.

On the other hand, posting this now with the admonition to “fix it” seems to imply that we need to fix the current situation when we get to election day. So, we should vote for Trump? After all, Harris is the second in command of an administration that has brought us to our current situation. Are we being admonished to fix the problems of the last four years? That would mean voting for Not-Harris… or Trump. Huh.

Watching the Harris-Walz campaign, it is abundantly clear that they have no platform whatsoever. I absolutely do not consider “joy” to be a platform. As has been noted in multiple memes, “joy” does not pay for my groceries, or gas for the car, or my mortgage, or any of those necessities of life.

Harris and Walz have little to no understanding of economics, nor do they understand the fundamental character of the majority of Americans. Harris has made her lack of understanding (and intelligence) clear over the last four years. They and those who claim to support them, consider themselves to be the smartest people in the room, they dislike and disparage any and all who disagree with them, and avoid all attempts to question their motives and goals. Supporters, when you get them going, make it clear that they are supporting Harris and Walz simply because that ticket is not Trump. Don’t believe me? Just ask a Harris supporter why neither of them has done an unscripted interview with any news outlet. I mean, even the New York Times has started to question that.

Most, if not all, of the fascistic horrors projected onto Trump have all been implemented or discussed by Biden, Harris, Walz, Pelosi, Schumer, Newsom, et al. They are the ones in favor of criminalizing “misinformation” (and defining it extremely fluidly). They are the ones criminalizing prayer in public spaces. They are the ones endangering children (losing 320,000 migrant kids, anyone?) Biden, Harris et al are the ones who opened up the border and refuse to acknowledge the existence of criminals amongst the hordes of illegal immigrants crossing into the country over both the southern AND northern borders. (Maybe we need to find the author of that letter from Canada and ask him about the situation in his country now).

The letter-writer is correct in his main point – we DO need to fix the current situation in this country. Bear in mind that the things Trump was accused of during both the 2016 and 2020 election cycles have all been proven to be “misinformation” at best, outright slander and libel at worst. But I’m willing to bet that’s not the “misinformation” that Gavin Newsom wanted to make illegal. It’s easy to believe the worst of someone when they don’t have the best of reputations to begin with. And, no Trump didn’t have the best of reputations. However, all those Democrats named above were happy to be seen with him when he was donating a lot of money to their campaigns. They are equally happy, and suspiciously quiet now, about their relationships with Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein among others.

It’s been proven that Bill Clinton regularly cheated on his wife, likely took advantage of the entertainments featured on Epstein’s island, bought off or threatened the women he slept with or raped, and used the power and authority of his elected positions to do so, and that Hillary Clinton did the same. Yet, Bill is considered to be a good person.

The hypocrisy is staggering.

But Trump lives rent-free inside the heads of his haters. And they will go to any lengths to make sure he fails in his current bid for the presidency.

What they’ve failed to consider is that they are actually the minority. Those of us who disagree with them are the majority. Do not give in to the tricks used by Lenin and allow the left to name itself “the majority” (Bolshevik) and you “the minority” (Menshevik) when the opposite is true. Just like Lenin, they are trying to get inside your head so you won’t peek behind the curtain, or see through the smoke and break the mirrors.

Yank the curtain back, blow away the smoke, and break the mirrors. They are afraid of you. Use that to your advantage, demand accountability at all levels, and… fix it.

  1. The party that wants to silence and criminalize opinion is never the correct party to support. Bad ideas can be better combatted by better ideas. And if not enough people are supporting your ideas to get things done, your ideas probably suck. Vote accordingly
