Stupidity or Evil?

I’m going with stupidly evil or evil stupidity. Or simply, yes. The Biden Administration is stupid AND evil. Joe Biden is suffering from dementia/Alzheimer’s; take your pick – he’s not in his right mind. And even when he was in his right mind he lied like a rug, enabled his son’s hookers and blow habit, took cuts from dubious, illegal deals created by that same son, and covered for him. Jill Biden (notice how she’s not been in public for a while) thinks that she’s queen of the U.S. She insists that people outside of academia and academic settings call her “doctor.” That’s laughable and only arrogant assholes insist on that one. These are the people you voted for if you voted for Biden.

Punishing the Unvaccinated to Assuage the Fears of the Vaccinated

I just read a piece in Reason talking about Leana Wen’s (now working for CNN natch) contention that the unvaccinated should be confined to their homes. That due to their refusal to get the vaccine they are causing problems for those people who chose to get vaccinated. With that statement, in addition to loudly demonstrating her love of all things authoritarian, Wen absolutely undermined any arguments from the CDC, FDA, or FICUS that the vaccine is effective.

Ask Your Doctor About…

Why are people deemed intelligent enough to have a discussion with doctors about all kinds of drugs to treat everything from the heartbreak of psoriasis to ulcerative colitis to Crohn’s Disease to psoriatic arthritis to whatever but are viewed as less than minimally intelligent if they ask questions about Wuflu vaccines?

Fisking WuFlu “News”

I have read and enjoyed many fiskings of articles over the years, but I’ve never done one myself. That changes today. I ran across this article from ABC News and the stats professor in me couldn’t resist (if you’re wondering, teaching stats really makes me ornery!) There is just sooo much wrong with this garbage, it will require a paragraph by paragraph discussion and fisking. This is the kind of thing I’m talking about when I say that the sole goal of the media, when “reporting” about the WuFlu (or Republicans, or Trump, or those who disagree with Biden, or anything else) is to stoke fear and anger.

Door to Door Invaders

The other day, Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary, said that in order to bring up the vaccination rate the government would be initiating a door-to-door campaign to try to get more people to accept the jab. This prompted a TON of blowback and rightly so. The government does not get to decide how citizens handle personal health issues. And stop with the “it’s a pandemic! Don’t you care about others? You’re going to kill us all!” This thing is a bad flu.

Bring Back the Fear!

“It’s the Delta variant! Run for your lives!” That seems to be the mantra of CNN et al, the WHO (in the pocket of the CCP), Fauci (also in the pocket of the CCP), and a number of other individuals and organizations. I am torn between exasperation – just shut UP already! – and hysterical laughter at the insanely rapid spinning that the bureaucrats, media, and politicians are going through right now. Unless you are deliberately deluding yourself, it should be clear as day by now that the entire response to WuFlu was and always will be about power – the power to control and mold society into something unrecognizable to average Americans.

Governments, People, and Labels

It’s become fashionable, and is even seen as moral, to label people who use “Chinese virus” or “WuFlu” as racists. The (less than logical) argument is that by identifying an illness by its point of origin, one is implying that the people of that country are to blame, or are all carriers of, that illness. The pretzel shape of that argument is amazing. What all the screaming misses is that the names are aimed at the government of China, not the Chinese people. Yes, yes. I know that there are the usual morons physically and verbally attacking Asians. Trust me, those people would be attacking others regardless of what the illness is called. Those attackers are what we call “criminals.” People who commit crimes, like for instance, attacking elderly people because those elderly are a different race.

Unmasking

As of today (Saturday) about 15+ states have significantly lowered their Wuflu restrictions or eliminated them altogether. One CNBC story I found had as part of its headline “…despite warnings” and in the opening graf noted that the Biden administration had asked those states to slow down. I giggled at that. It’s not going to happen. We have reached the one-year anniversary of “two weeks to flatten the curve.” In my purely anecdotal scanning of Facebook, I noticed that the “wear your mask!” scolds had died out. BUT…as soon as the news started coming out that states were lifting mask mandates, the wailing and gnashing of teeth began anew.

Be A Happy Warrior

You will be made to fear is the mantra we’ve been living with for almost a year now. But I say, don’t be afraid, be a happy warrior. Laugh at the fear, laugh at those who want you to live in fear, and laugh at those who peddle the fear (right after you yell at them for peddling baseless fears).
